George Sid Staton, MD and William Doug Luke, MD are interventional cardiologists with South Georgia Medical Associates which is located in Valdosta at 410 Connell Road.

Dr. Staton grew up in Morven, GA, attended Valdosta State College, Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University and his fellowship training in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. Dr. Staton has lived and practiced in Valdosta since 2010.

Dr. Luke was raised in Fitzgerald, GA, attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, University of Georgia, Mercer University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and his fellowship in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at University of Florida, Shands Hospital. Dr. Luke has lived and practiced in Valdosta since 2013.

Both Dr. Staton and Dr. Luke are Board Certified General Cardiologists and Interventional Cardiologists. Please be assured that Dr. Staton and Dr. Luke are committed to taking care of the cardiology needs of this community and surrounding counties and are accepting new patients. They are aggressively working to attract two additional Interventional Cardiologists who they worked with in the past during their training and are well-known by physicians so that patients can receive cardiology services locally.
